Davids' (1936 - 1988)
Lew and Bill Davids purchased Lot Number 11 from 'Jackie' Simpson on October 10th, 1936, for $450. The deed bears the names of Lionel Simpson, Viola Simpson James, Menzo James, John Simpson, and Connie Simpson.

Bill Davids fishing off of the rock shoreline.  Looks like he has his fishing hat on.  That old canvas fishing hat with the annual fishing license badges pinned to it.  You can see one in this photo.  Dad wore it water skiing one day; darn thing blew right off his head and is resting on the bottom now!

A view of the original cottage from the 'front'. Fall. 1968. It even had an indoor 'liew'! But only the ladies could use it. The men had to use the 'WPA' outhouse.
