Comments I have spent many happy years visiting Lake Teedyuskung. My
Grandparents and Uncle, Elizabeth, Arnold and Ted Belcher owned a cabin there named
Chippewa. My Parents spent much of their youth there, and although I don’t have any
pictures of the cabin, I do have some pictures of his dock. I would love to email them to
you to post on the site. Let me know if you want them. On your map, his cabin would be
at approximately thefifth dot, where the outlet is. My Dad still lives in the area, on Blue
Eddy Road, and we would really love to contribute to this site in any way that we can.
My Maternal Grandmother, Missy Pugh Humphreys also had a home on the lake, on the
same side as Ted’s cabin, down towards where Woodlock now is. My Dad was a camper,
and then a counsellor at Dan Beards. He also helped to build the Cookoo’s Nest. Let me
know where to send the pictures, and I will get them ready to be sent. LOVE THIS
SITE!!!!!!!

Comments i found your site through another i first viewed the cuckoos nest. I hate to
admit it but i also remember the back room but most of all was the choc chip ice cream
uncle bob would give us as so many chose to call him how often i wish my children could
grow up with such a wonderful family place maybe the world would be a better place if
we went back to being realistic instead of materalistic. sept 23, 2001
