Comments Just came back to the website to see what’s new. Wow! So many more
people have written about this great little lake. I want to say thanks to my cousins, Hazel
Schanke Erikson and Lisa Schanke Jensen for the photos they shared with me. If ever I
start feeling a little lost, I can always go back to the lake, and all is well again. Many,
Many thanks to Rick Davids and anyone else who makes this site possible. When we
used to make a trip into Hawley, there was a store I really liked. I think it was called “The
Trading Post”. I remember a hotel (I think) that had $1 dollar bills tacked to the ceiling.

the Stern’s cottage in 1976 and have spent each entire summer there since then. We love
it. Our children and grandchildren have many happy memories of beautiful Lake
Teedyuskung.
